The parts kit was an upgrade to the original parts installed in our dishwasher, replacing plastic with metal. With the instructions included, the new parts were a breeze to install. Total time for removal of the old (broken) and the installation of the new parts was about 20 minutes.

Of course, this product is made of as much plastic as possible. Just like the original. No impact on day-to-day operations, just know that this part will fail just like the original. Plastic parts and high heat just do not mix.Pretty easy to install, one part of the instructions could have been a bit more descriptive of how you are supposed to perform the action. I think it was during the removal of old parts from the rack. Just said remove part from dishwasher rack...this was done a while ago, don't remember the exact step it was...

I am happy to have my dishwasher back in action after one of the OEM slider wheels broke on us. I like that these wheels are at least anchored to the bracket with a metal screw, which I hope will be more durable than the all plastic wheels these replaced.However, there are a couple real complaints. The instructions pictures were taken with a potato. Virtually useless. I easily found a video online, but how hard is it to take a usable picture for your instructions?More troublesome is the adjustment mechanism is not very effective at locking the dishwasher in its highest setting. Which is where it need to be 90% of the time. One side simply refused to stay up at all and the other side would collapse with the slightest bit of weight added to the rack. I had to MacGyver a solution using zip ties that effectively deleted the ability to adjust the rack.The parts weren't faulty or damaged, the design is simply a poor. If these break eventually, I will use one of the other aftermarket solutions to the all plastic design flaw.

The OEM rack height adjuster was all plastic and you guessed it, the plastic roller axles broke. I suffered long enough so I bought this kit. The actual roller assembly was made of metal and felt sturdier. The instructions were in French and English. Thank god as my French is horrible. I gave this a mostly 4 rating because while I am mechanically inclined the instructions were difficult to understand because the photos were sub-standard quality. Additionally, the kit contents only said kit and instructions. It should have had separate photos of each part and what their name was. Also, the screws did not go in all the way on the cover. I will have to find some wood screws to put in. However, I would buy this again.

This is an excellent replacement part for the very poorly designed Whirlpool OEM part. The written instructions included with the product are COMPLETELY USELESS. Perhaps one of the worst sets of instructions I have ever received with any purchase. BUT, there is a video that you can find easily that shows how to do the install, and the actual install is very easy and only takes a few minutes. If others have also had the clips at the end of the slide rails for the top shelf break, I have found that simply inserting a zip tie in place of the clip works perfectly.
