SUMMARY: Excellent. Spacious. Ideal for crafting on. Has good features including metric and imperial on the same side. The white zone has turned out to be the best part for me. Has one minor downside that's a matter of personal taste (and not a deal-breaker), and a bit expensive; but recommended. 4.75 star rating. Details below:QUALITY / SIZE: Good quality. Great for craft projects. Definitely huge (16x22 inches), larger than the usual A3-size craft mats.NOT FOR CUTTING DIRECTLY ONTO...because it's glass. A self-healing silicone cutting mat placed on top, being silicone, won't slide around on the glass.CLEANING: Easy to clean and de-stickify, with water or rubbing alcohol; makes for loud squeaky noises :-)MEASUREMENTS: Has metric AND imperial ON THE SAME SIDE, with inch grids/subdivisions.COLOURWAY: The "print" colour is teal blue or light turquoise, being the logo colour of the manufacturer We R Memory Keepers aka We R. That's reasonably unobtrusive; some firms have logo colours that are too bright/loud.THE WHITE ZONE: The large plain white rectangle is on the righthand side. If you want it to your left, turn the mat round but measurements (and logo) will be upside down. At first a plain white area seems insignificant or pointless, but I like having a designated area (and within sensible reach of my right hand) for mixing wet media e.g. inks/polishes/paints/pastes, saves getting out a paint palette. I can use a small brayer on the Product too, saves getting out a small gel plate.I also use the white zone for organisation or tidying, to corral items. Of course I can have such a zone on any mat, but the plain white looks distinct, like a tray, so it helps me compartmentalise things not just physically but mentally as well.DOWNSIDE: No in-built "printed" crib sheets like envelope sizes and no lifesize standard greeting card measurements. Many craft mats show A4, A5, A6 at least. I bought the Product anyway as few firms make mats in this huge size that are glass (they're usually silicone and foldable - I didn't want the mark of where it unfolds to be in the middle of my work space - been there done that). I have my Nice New Craft Mat (the Product) and keep my old A3 mat next to it solely to have lifesize card sizes to hand.EXPENSIVE: Probably the price includes shipping from the USA as We R is a USA firm. When I bought, Amazon had already done said shipping, so it was delivered to me from within the UK and fast.FEET / CORNER PROTECTORS: Has permanently attached feet. Comes with teal blue corner protectors - either as discardable packaging or permanently use as corner protectors though they obscure a small area of measurements.

This is a large surface with silicone protection on each corner. Easy to wipe clean and has measurements along the edge. Perfect for crafts and projects
