I take product photos but rely on taking the pictures outside due to bad indoor lighting. I was really hoping this would be the solution to my problem and sadly, it was not. I tried multiple settings on my camera/phone and tried adjusting the lighting. For me, this did not work nor did it provide me with good product photos - I returned mine.

As a greeting card maker, I've tried at least a dozen different photo boxes and this is by far the easiest and best quality I've tried so far. It's such an easy non-fussy setup and the backdrops are built to last. Many come with thin nylon material backdrops that get frayed and wrinkled do easy. These are faux leather that is excellent for absorbing light and so easy to wipe clean. I typically make 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards, and this has more than ample room for that. I can see it's actually designed for using on 12x12 scrapbook pages even. THe lighting is perfect whether I shoot from above or the front opening. It comes in an ok tote with more storage that you need for all the supplies. It looks like the sides are going to collapse, but the supports keep it up fine, and the shape actually helps improve the lighting. I love everything about this box!

I have a mini photography studio setup for product images. This box is an amazing addition to that. It's well-made and works great. My instructions did get stuck inside the box where I couldn't see them so I had to figure it out through trial and error. I thought it wasn't working because I missed the knob, which plays a huge role in operation. So make sure you turn that on. There is a huge difference in how the objects look on the black versus white backdrops when using a phone that has auto settings (see image). There's also a harsh lined shadow when using your flash through a top hole. Not anything wrong with this product, just an FYI so you know what to adjust if you're experiencing the same. It's not a faulty product, you just need to make changes to your device and how you're taking the picture. The anti-glare magnetic strips help too. It's easy to set up and folds down with a carrying bag (not fancy, kinda like reusable shopping bags).My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. I waited a year to order this light box. I was so excited to get it and then I was SUPER disappointed and sent it back. I don't mind the ugliness of the box since you can fold it to put it away. However, the functionality is pretty bad. It didn't help with lighting the way you put the camera/phone on the top. And if you have something on the back of your phone to hold your phone with, it interferes with the holes in the light box and you can't get the right angle to include the entire pic of your layout. The "legs" or "poles" to hold the box up was a bit hard to get out of position once you had it in there to the point I almost broke it. Would not recommend this product, so disappointing.

This was easy to set up and did exactly what it said it would do. I was able to take great shots of scrapbook pages with NO GLARE! The pictures were sharp and easy to crop.
