I have it 4/5 stars fit sturdiness since it is ceramic. But it's well made, painted and professionally glazed. Fits a ball of yarn anywhere between 4-6oz comfortably and 8oz can technically fit, but a bit awkwardly. Either way it's a great purchase and heavy enough to keep the yarn in place.
