I suspect it may just be a gimmick. I have conducted some research and found that masks are actually more effective than masks. Don't be fooled like me. The size is good, but the noise is too loud. I wasted my hard-earned money.

I rate this personal air purifier as 3 stars because I like that it's possible to have clean personal air and that this device is so quiet, but I don't really feel anything, so I can't tell if it actually works. I can't test with cigarettes since I don't smoke, so I'll keep it at a 3 for now until I can really test the purification ability. Also, just to note, the instructions incorrectly identify the power button.

Well, I read the dimensions, but was still surprised how tiny this little purifier was. It can certainly be worn around the neck -- like a fairly large pendant. I was underwhelmed by the output, however. I've had other ionizers that were probably less expensive, a bit larger, and had much better output. It may be fine for a tiny space around your nose, but I'd rather just have a larger unit for the whole room.

It seems to be working. I work as an aesthetician and every day around 3 o’clock I sneeze and sometimes I have coughing fits too due to the aromatherapies and the steam that I use in the room. But I haven’t been sneezing, so it seems that the air purifier is working to block the aromatherapies or any pollutants from bothering me
