Im sure the Garmin messenger is just fine but why would you include a power pack bundle that does NOT work with the Garmin in reach messenger? Plugs do not go with each other. This bundle is not compatible and should not be sold together.

Messenger is lighter and has better antennas than the Mini, plus the app integration makes messaging more like texting. I switched from Spots directly to this. The satellite connectivity and reliability are far superior.

This is the worst Garmin device I've ever used. Doesn't connect well and needs to be recharged daily.Buy a different device. Don't make my mistake

Bought it for long trips off shore in the ocean but have not used it yet. Subscription sign up was easy and can cancel at any time.

I was in the Northern California Redwoods, this device was completely useless. Unless you have a complete view of the sky, this will not work

The Garmin messenger unit and the charging cord are great!! The chargers and battery pack are extremely low quality junk!!
