Installation Tips

  • Waiting an hour or two will provide adequate adhesion for driving. Full adhesion takes up to 72 hours.

  • Installation is recommended in temperatures 60 degrees or above, or inside a heated garage.

  • The BumperTopper measures 3mm thick.

  • Yes. When properly installed, you can safely enter a car wash.

Weather Tech prides themselves with the made in the USA motto. This part is garbage, barely a month later and the tape is lifting. I should send it back, but I guess I'll buy stronger 3M tape than they provided. Should have just bought the OEM Subaru part.

The adhesive tape lasted about a week here in Arizona! Apparently wasn’t tested in these hot conditions. Already coming off at the ends.

Works exactly as advertised. However, care must be used in making sure it's even. If it's not, then will not fit flush all the way across. Ask me how I know :)

Super easy to install. Fit and finish is great. Has a lip that covers the edge of the bumper which is a clever and a required design. Definitely recommended.

Great idea, but it just doesn’t seem to fit the top of the bumper perfectly, still works for me and stays in place, i have a big dog and this protects my car and gives my dog a better footing, when installing just do it on a nice hot day and be sure to wipe the whole top placement with rubbing alcohol
