The item is just as pictured and works exactly the way it should. I use it in the Field Training my Retriever and it’s just enough to give them a tap on the chest. If they decide they’re going to move forward on a mark.

When something like this is needed, it works great. Makes a loud snapping sound to get the horse to pay attention to you. I’ve used it from the ground - just put it around my wrist to use quickly for training purposes. I’ve also used it while riding. I attach it via snap to my saddle rings and can simply pick it up quickly and let my guy know to knock off his behavior issues if he’s not listening to the aids. It is an effective training tool if used properly.

I'm using it as a discipline tool for my puppy, so she doesn't become fearful of my hand and isn't biting me when being scolded. The snap of the leather is just enough to distract and discourage her from being naughty.

the leather snap arrived and was a nice shade of unstained leather, good feel and action to i. I tried it out immediately and lied the snap and impact it produced. i would highly recommend this tool. good construction, durable, and a good feel to it.
