These are nice well made, good looking chinks, however they do run larger than the sizing in the description, so much so I had to return them. The leather is soft buttery smooth and appears to be good quality.

I love these chinks. The leather is very supple and the chinks appear to be well made. Now, I understood the chinks were tied with a leather string but what I didn't realize is just how thin the leather string is.... twice as small as a leather tie string on a saddle. It is not if, but when the leather tie will break as the chinks are quite heavy. At the price....the chinks should buckle in front.

Love them, they are made of high quality leather. The only thing I wish was different is the tie in the front. It is a thin leather tie, instead of a buckle. Probably designed for a higher safety level (will break easily if caught), but it is thin enough I was worried I would break it getting on and off my horse. Other than that, they are great, and I received many compliments on them!
