Doesn't tangle up like the thin nylon lines. It is heavier but easier to use.

I bought this for my granddaughter who's 10 for Christmas. She will be training a friend's horse in the spring. When it arrived I noticed it's kind of heavy and I'm not sure she'll be able to use it. I went and bought her a lighter one but she will keep this for when she's older. This lounge line looks well made, the clip is sturdy and who knows maybe she'll surprise me in the spring and use this one instead of the lighter one. I would recommend this product to my friends and family.

I love the sponge line! It’s soft with a cotton end it is round, but in no way too thick or heavy. I like cotton lines, but in the past I had thin ones and they were so hard to use because they were too light and they were just constantly flop around. This has just a little bit of weight to it with around us but by no means heavy whatsoever

I purchased it to replace a broken bad quality lunge rope and its absolutely what I needed. Its thick rope that it easy to hold onto but its not stiff. Its very floppy and pliable when it what I like.I can also use this with my Blocker Tire Ring which makes training so much easier with a 25' thick rope vs. a 12' slippery lead rope. It seems sturdy enough so far and even with horses pulling back on it while tied to the tie ring, it has held up and the clasp is holding strong.

I never expected this to be as soft and pliable as it is and I just love it! The others at the barn have been asking me where I purchased mine so I told them because they are still using the thin nylon ropes that can cause a bad burn if you do not have gloves on and your horse gets a little out of control so I am expecting them to be buying one from here soon!

I bought one of these lunge lines 20 years ago for my first horse. I used it mainly as a tie-out rope so my horse could graze in the yard. Well after 20 years of near-daily use for horse grazing every summer, the snap finally broke. The rope itself, while still functional and in one piece, was starting to look pretty tattered and worn out. So I decided to replace it. This lunge line is made identically to the first one. It will last me another twenty years.

I have used this for lunging, wouldn't do it on a very light breed or small horse. It's a nice feel of rope, but remains lightweight IMO. But I bought it as a loading aid, click to the horse and pull through the window. Works beautifully for that and is exactly what I wanted. It's nice quality and soft on the hands. Really like this a lot.
