This brush is awesome and effective. The "brush" portion is soft, as you would expect. It spreads nicely and then you toss in the top shelf of your dishwasher. I have a basket for such items and it cleans nicely there. I have also just put in a glass with some detergent and washed it by hand. As well as heat tolerance, I believe one of the best things about silicone is the ease of cleaning. The handle is long, but not super long... eyeballing it.... about 12" inches or so? The "brushes" are about 2" ? I didn't find the length of the bristles or the handle to be too short or too long in use, both were just right to me. I believe that it s a quality item and will last for a long time, however, I will and do update if I find any issues in wear or otherwise. It arrived quickly (I have prime) and in good condition with a few other items I had ordered.

I guess when it comes to barbecuing you simply can't go wrong with Weber. This is a terrific basting brush, and it holds a lot of your sauce so you have to dip fewer times. Cleans up easily. Highly recommend.

This thing is really nice. Just as advertised, it holds a good amount of sauce, no dripping (Your brand of sauce may vary), and spreads it evenly and easily. It's weight is just heavy enough to feel solid, but still light. It doesn't feel cheap at all. The handle long enough to keep your hands away from the heat, but doesn't unbalance the whole thing. Speaking of balance, I keep my sauce in a cereal bowl, and place the brush inside with the handle sticking way out. It doesn't flip out of the bowl, flinging sauce everywhere, I thought that was a nice surprise. Overall, I'd have to recommend it.

I thought I could use my pastry brush to put BBQ sauce on my ribs. when they were on the grill. Nope. My arms got really red and hot. What was I thinking? This brush is long enough to reach across the grill without your arm getting close to the coals. It did seem a little pricey for a grill basting brush, but the quality of this Weber is worth it. I love the little Weber grill logo on it too. I ordered the other pieces so I would have a matching set. Too cute!

This is a good size and solid built utensil. They have been with us a few month and it has hold the brushes are soft and moldable and the "plastic" they are is not rigid so it marinate or sauce very good. The only bad thing is that after a few washes the head came out of the stick. It was a plus because I could clean the inside and all, and also I was able to put it back inside with a little push and did not fall out until cleaning again but even that has been a plus for me it doesn't suppose to happen. I would buy again, but is so sturdy I think I may not need too. :)

The brush is useful in the basting of meat on a grill. i have used it a few times and it worked as expected. The sauce stays on it and easily applies to the meat grilling on the barbecue grill. i love it as your hands stay away from the flames and heat of the grill. I would recommend it to consumers.
