I ordered this in size 11/12 for my tween granddaughter (11 years, 5' tall, 65 pounds). She likes it but said the top was "kind of weird" because "it's not really a crop top but kind of is." I think she means the elastic waist on the top is at her waist, where it competes with the paper bag waist on the shorts. The shorts fit her well. Overall, she likes the outfit, but I suspect she will hike the top up a little so it doesn't fight the waistband on the shorts. I washed the set before I gave it to her, and it washed well and dried without a lot of wrinkles. The leopard print is nice and stylish and goes well with the beige shorts. I personally thought the shorts should be made of a slightly sturdier material, but she likes the look and feel of them. Both the shirt and shorts seem to be well-made, and the price is very good for a nice-looking set. This is more of a nice, dress-up shorts set rather than a get-rowdy-on-the-playground outfit. I rated it four stars mainly because the double elastics coming together at the waist creates an awkward look. The top needs to be a little shorter to make it a true crop top, or it needs to be straight cut and long enough to tuck into the shorts.

Obtained for my preteen granddaughter who loves leopard print. Of course she loves this well made set. The materials are of good quality and the print is well done. It fits her very well. In fact she wore it to school with leggings under the shorts to stay warm. She looked great and her best friend loved the outfit also. At the current price of $14.99 this outfit for the quality is a steal.

Isn't it nice when you received something you bought and find that it is more pleasing than expected. Well, this set is just that. It is so nice that my daughter tried on the blouse and immediately decided to wear it instead of the one she had chosen for a birthday party the same day we received it and got so many compliments. The material is a nice polyester that looks more like satin. While the blouse was a nice fit, the shorts is a little big for her. The bowl on the shorts is not adjustable so I have to add an adjustable band to it so she can wear it and just have her wear a short tights under and it will be perfect. I think if I wait until she grows into it, then it's going to look like the model where the shorts seem rumpled between her legs. She is 10 years old and very slim but I ordered size 11-12 yrs.

My granddaughter is in a size 6. This did not come in a size 6, but it was so pretty I went ahead and ordered a 7/8 thinking she would grow into it. She could actually wear it now if it were hot! The way the outfit is constructed, the shorts look like a skirt on her and the elastic waist keeps it up. The top is off the shoulders anyway, and the elastic around the top edge keeps that in place. It's all made from a silky, thin material and perfect for 100 degree summers we have here sometimes. It would be excellent at the beach! Looks more expensive than a $14.99 outfit.

This outfit is well made. Seams are strong and the paperbag shorts seem durable. The material is very comfortable. The leeopard print is very cute, and the shorts are a true beige.
