Decent size, doesn't slip around on a smooth wooden table. Lots of pockets for hardware. I would purchase this again.

Love this. Beside soldering in use as mat to take things apart. The little pieces don’t bounce or roll off.

Great product overall, my only issue is I can’t get it to lay flat. No matter what I do, no matter how long I leave it out for. I’ve even tried using a high temp heater on it. The edges curl up on it.

Diese Matte ist ein absolutes Muss für alle, die regelmäßig löten. Die Qualität ist hervorragend – sie ist hitzebeständig und schützt den Arbeitsplatz perfekt vor heißen Lötspitzen oder flüssigem Lötzinn. Die Oberfläche ist so gestaltet, dass nichts verrutscht, was beim Löten eine enorme Erleichterung ist. Besonders praktisch sind auch die kleinen Fächer für Bauteile und Werkzeuge, so bleibt alles übersichtlich und griffbereit. Die Größe passt perfekt für meine Projekte, und das Material fühlt sich langlebig und robust an. Klare Empfehlung für alle Bastler und Profis!

No, its not worth $40 dollars. But, it's still a nearly 5/5 star product. The mat is really nice looking. Something beautiful to display on your work bench or desk. It's also fairly big, and has more than enough compartments to keep your job well organized. The downside, is that the mat is a static magnet for hairs, dust, etc...Do not use with any static sensitive components. Not to mention its rubberish, so any crumbs will stick to it like tape. That being said, the mat is a pleasure to work on and look at. It is best suited for simple jobs that are not at risk to static electricity. Nontheless, the quality of the mat for what you get with all its limitations and high price is still a solid 4.5/5 stars, but it's not worth nearly $40 dollars, so I wouldn't purchase it again. It's worth more like $25 dollars. Next time, I will just purchase a cheap non-brand type like the many on Amazon. The main reason I purchased this, is because of the nice red color and previous reviews.

This is an ideal size for my watchmaking/repair. The only thing I altered was the magnets, something you don't want when working on watches but they came out easy so no problem. Here it's fitted inside a frame which makes it easy to store without having to put away anything. All in all a very nice bit of kit.I may use it for electronics as well or I might setup another.
