Not the greatest quality but they work pretty good. You will definitely get a couple duds out of the group that don’t want to open.

120 cassette tape cases for $59.99 - that's 50 cents each.I confess. I'm a boomer. I gave up my records (LPs and 45s for those who speak my ancient language), gave up my 8 tracks, but I held onto my cassettes and promised myself to organize them - but it's a pain. So many of them are just loose, while others have cases. I've had many cassette cases in my past, and I like the clear ones (I can add a paper song list, cover, or just title inside the cases), and I like the ones with the prongs that present the tape from unspooling over time - the protruding tabs that lock the tape in place is a desirable feature.Hmmm . . . here's what I like. Gee, where will I find these? I finally gave up my last car with a cassette player but still have a few stereos. I don't find a lot of cassettes in stores. My tape decks still work. My stereos still work. Maybe I should seize the opportunity. So I did.Photo 1 shows the nice heavy box that arrives. A foot wide, and over a foot deep. Well packaged - nothing rattling or sounding damaged.Photo 2 shows that box again with the lid open. Well stacked cassette cases, well protected, and I have no trouble believing that there are 120 of them in there.Photo 3 shows one of the cases, with the plastic protective coating half removed. Clean, clear, crisp, with those tabs that I wanted. Good quality.Photo 4 opens the case. Easy to open. Good design - doesn't look like the hinge pins will wear out over time. This open cassette may also remind some of you of the other way we (now old folks) used our cases - they can also hold things for display. I had forgotten that option until I did this. Then again, I have plenty of business card holders to fill that purpose better. The good - well made, well protected, clean, crisp, clear, and ready to handle the organization of cassette tapes. The bad - Just figure out your price point and what you're willing to pay. For the price, it's a heavy and quite complete set of cassette cases, but it's also a bit pricey at 50 cents each when you compare to what we paid in the old days. Then again, I remember cans of soup being 5 for $1.00 and gum being 10 cents a pack when I was a kid (yes, and gas was 41 cents a gallon when I started driving), so maybe 50 cents a case is a good price in this inflated cost world of 2024. Figure out whether it's worth it for you. I'm happy with my transaction.

I resell cassettes and the brand I used to buy isn't listed anymore. These feel pretty brittle, like I'm sure if I drop it will shatter. I went through all 120 of them in a few hours. I need a few hundred, but decided to try these out before ordering a few cases of them. The packaging was good, none were broken upon arrival. No complaints about any of that, it's just a low quality jewel case. Had troubles opening a few up and had to dismantle it to get it to open. The case bends too much, a few scuffed really easily just stacking them. The edges are not rounded out any so they have a sharp/rough feel to them. One j card that was pretty thick from the number of cards inside wouldn't allow the jewel case to shut, but the other 119 fit fine. I'd suggest getting a small pack to test first unlike me to see if it's worth your investment. There's others out there for a few pennies more that appear to be better quality. Comparing the everlots brand I used to buy by the 100 case side by side, there's just a night and day difference. For what I'm using these for (resell), they are fine. I wouldn't use these for my personal collection though. I'll be trying another brand next order.
