This faux leather is made by Polyurethane,picture shows natural wooden skin textured and the backside which is cotton back!Thickness is approx 0.035-0.04 inch,it's easy to work with;weight is approx 2 lbs per linear yard,it's durable and breathable and comfortable.
It's very soft pliable and smooth,the texture is extremely resistant to soiling and scratches,and easy to clean by damp cloth,easy to cut with scissors and will not fray,can be sewn by hand or by machine.

This PU leather is a bit more heavy and thick, maybe 1.2+ mm thickness. Feels like to quality product, will see how it holds up. I enjoyed the navy color and texture. Comes shipped and folded, wish it was rolled instead. The size of this piece, 1 yard, fits my purpose.

Though faux-leather, does have the look and feel of leather. Easy to cut to required size. One upgrade could be to have a variety of dimensions, or even make them customizable to reduce waste. Small issue, given the reasonable price.

My only issue would have been how it was transported as It was folded. Iron on the backside with very very low heat took most of them out. I went stretched. It seemed to be barely visible. OK product though.

I cover my love sofa seat leather with Faux Leather Fabric Soft Skin and it looks good. I do not know about durabuility because I just got 3 weeks so far. Great for the price.

Purchased to reupholster 6 dining chairs and it was absolutely perfect, exactly what I was hoping for and arrived within a week of ordering. My ONLY complaint is that I had to order more (such a bummer, shucks) because my chairs had awkward measurements that I didn’t account for with my initial order, I was left with a lot of small cutoffs that I’ll have to find a use for because it’s such a great fabric. Very soft, mimics real leather quite well and super easy to work with! Will absolutely order again for future projects

Very nice realistic looking leather vinyl material.The embossed grain makes it superior to all other vinyl fabrics.Thickness should be adequate for chair seats and durability.Very pleased.Fabric was folded inside a zip lock plastic bag.Yes, there were a few fold lines and a slight odor (because vinyl is made from petroleum product materials) but after unfolding it and letting it air outside a day it was fine.I would recommend this fabric.

Descent quality, supple, nice grain. Somewhat thick synthetic felt backing may not be appropriate for all applications, as it won't stretch much. I think it will work great for seat cushions, but not for contoured, glued projects.Many reviews complain of creases in material. Absolutely true! 54"X36" is folded to 14"x12" in China and stuffed into flat bag. After months of being packed and stacked tight, the creases are very prominent. I used a clothes iron on med-high setting to iron from the felt backing side. This removed all the creases. It wasn't difficult, but irritating nonetheless. Some reviews also mentioned holes along edges, as if from staples. These punctures don't go all the way thru fabric. The row of marks run about 1/2" inside of two opposing edges. I suppose it's caused by machinery that moves material along assembly/trimming line. I expect that won't be problem for most applications, as this area is normally folded over or otherwise hidden.
