I originally bought one somewhere else as a gift. I immediately regretted not getting myself one then. So I bought 1 through Amazon a couple years later, amazed by the one I gave away. Lol. So the first I got myself was from Amazon, I'm surprised it was even sold! The button to open the rice cooker and the power cord were missing?? It was resale, but how it was in "very good" condition? I don't know! It was a simple return though and I bought another. The 2nd I bought myself from Amazon was just like the original one that made me want one. The product itself is amazing!! You can make a lot of rice in this pot. I've had others and they didn't make enough, but this one is just right. You can make a little or a lot and it's so easy to clean. Overall it's like most other rice makers, but this ones capacity is outstanding. My friends used theirs for a little over 2 years now with no issues or complaints. You can cook different types of rice and grains with the menu options. It also comes with a steamer basket. I'm not used to that and the timing yet, but I'll get better with it. I highly recommend this rice maker!!

I have many small appliances I never own a rice cooker so I ordered this one… I use it now for the rice oatmeal and grits… I have put veggies in to steam.The clean up is so easy…

It comes with steamer basket but no steamer button. Not sure how to use that feature. Rice cooks well and it is small enough to not overtake the counter but still can cook plenty for up to eight people. Looks sleek, easy to clean.

After three months of use I am happy to report that the rice cooker is performing well. We have put it through its paces on a daily basis with no issues to report. The only drawback to report which really is not a deal breaker is the steam that collects on the inside of the lid drips into a slot around the inside of the cooker when the lid is opened. You have to wipe it out with a paper towel to keep it from overflowing onto the outside of the cooker. At this stage of ownership, I definitely recommend his Rice Cooker. Note for Jasmine Rice the ratio is rinse the rice and drain the water. Then add 1 and 1/3 cup of water per 1 cup of rice. Im using the standard 8 oz cup measurement. Use 1/1/2 cup water to one cup of rice if the rice has not been rinsed. Other brands of rise use basically the same measurement, but you may need to adjust the amount of water a little for meet your desires. The cooker takes 20 minutes to make 1 cup of rice which is more than plenty for 2 to 3 people.
