Westbrass was founded in 1935 by two brothers, to serve the needs of all plumbing wholesalers on the West Coast. The product lines at the time included items such as faucets, valves, malleable fittings, etc. After becoming the premier distributor of plumbing products, the company was bought in 1985 by Max Homami. Seeing a boom in the Home Improvement Industry, Mr. Homami had a vision to make Westbrass the leader in Kitchen & Bath Accessories.
The company currently manufactures its own products made of the highest quality materials. In the case of my tub shape and size I needed two extensions (one on the vertical run and one on the horizontal run) to assemble the drain. Fortunately they were also available via Amazon next day.The angle of the overflow didn’t match my tub and this caused a fit up problem.I got it together but I’m not all that happy with the resulting assembly.I recommend the vendor provide more dimensional information in their listing.

This came well packaged and arrived just as it should have. Item is sturdy and of really nice quality. Looks great in my bathroom; we are upgrading all of our fixtures to black. My handyman said it was very easy to install.

Did bathroom remodel and replaced tub drain along with the plumbing pieces. Im very new to DIY, took on a bathroom remodel & this was the easiest part! Unhook old pipes, put new pipes in. Looks great and seems good quality.

The quality of the paint is terrible. You can't even screw in the overflow drain cover without chipping off the paint. If I didn't already install the drain I would have returned this. Spend the extra money for something better because at this rate I'll have to replace the drain and overflow cover which will end up costing me more than a higher quality product.

Very poor quality product for the price. Thin gauge plastic with cheaply painted over flow and strainer. The washer thickness and design is not suitable in opinion. Tub installs need to last 20 years plus. I cant see this product lasting that long. I don't recommend.

The headline answered the first question that enters most peoples minds. I was concerned about buying this online and having to return it. But there is plenty adjustment to compensate for drain/over flow variances and even some angle offset. It was no secret that the pipe was plastic but what I found was that the drain and over flow seem to be very quality. They are a non ferrous material ( assume brass/copper) and are stout with good appearance and quality threading and fitment. I would give it 5 stars if it was not plastic pipe but really that may be an advantage with plastic offering more flexibility for alignment ? Good looking and priced very fairly, I would buy again.
