Westbrass was founded in 1935 by two brothers, Jack and Aaron Kagan, to serve the needs of all plumbing wholesalers on the West Coast. The product lines at the time included items such as faucets, valves, malleable fittings, etc. After becoming the premier distributor of plumbing products, the company was bought in 1985 by Max Homami. Seeing a boom in the Home Improvement Industry, Mr. Homami had a vision to make Westbrass the leader in Kitchen & Bath Accessories.
The company currently manufactures its own products made of the highest quality materials. This overflow cap was well made of good quality materials and included hardware bracket that had multiple attachment points. Even though the hardware was flexible I had a little difficulty attaching to standard downpipe hole locations on a Kohler bathtub, but in the end the result was a good looking alternative to the poorly designed Kohler system that came with the bathtub.

I tried several different plastic suction cup models that did not really work before getting this one that works perfectly and was easy enough to install that I could do it myself after watching the install video once. The plastic suction cup models, the suction cups were also at the top of the tub which gave them nothing to attach to, and the suction cups that did attach would stay pressed for a while but not enough to really give them a seal for a longer bath. This metal version works great on both settings. I've tried the half closed setting when I want a slightly fuller tub by an inch or so and I've tried the fully closed setting when I want a deeper soak with the tub as full as I can get it safely without risking overflow and both work great!

I didn’t end up using this drain cover, but based on appearance, it looked great and seemed durable. I originally bought it to glue to the tub due to a broken internal piece, but the lip wasn’t wide enough for that application. For its intended use, though, it seems like a great value.

Beautiful overflow plate, but does not fit many applications as it is under 3" in diameter.Suggest the company makes another larger version.

To start the delivery date was inconsistent the day it was to deliver it changed to the next day. Upon arrival it appeared they painted it matte black over a blemished cover but I attempted to install it anyway as I needed my tub only to find it was stripped and fit loose so irritated I paid so much for trash I treated it as such and threw it away as I'm not in a situation to deliver it for return anyway. Frustrating I spent what I did to get someone else's trash.

Dry nice but very big. Looks very “after market” as it sticks out a bit from the tub. It’s fine. Great quality.

I was looking for a plate to shut off the tub overflow. This product says it's "no hole" and that's true, but they don't say--definitively anyway--that it's still designed to let the water out since it mounts with a thin gap between it and the tub itself (I guess that's what "floating" means. I used big rubber washers to fit inside the cap to plug the gap, but it took some cutting and silicone adhesive to work around the bolt heads that attach the mounting bracket. It was work, but I got it to work. Can someone simply make a cap to shut off a tub overflow if one wants to?
