Meet Manny Ortiz
Manny Ortiz is a Chicago-based portrait photographer and Youtuber known for creating dynamic portraits using off-camera flash. Regarded as one of the most influential shooters in the world, he has inspired millions of photographers through his educational YouTube Channel and in-person workshops. Our diffusion panels are constructed with an all-natural, unbleached nylon fabric. Unlike processed diffusion fabrics, these diffusers will soften your light source without altering its color temperature. Interchangeable Mounts for Popular Lights
This beauty dish is designed with a quick-release thumb lock for quickly changing Switch Inserts (sold separately) for mounting strobes, speedlights, and constant lights. These interchangeable light mounts allow you to attach your light to any Switch light modifier in an instant. Simply slide the durable, all-metal adapter into the beauty dish’s rear tabs and secure in place with the thumb lock.

It’s completely average outside of its durability. The image is not to my liking, the diffusion is pretty weak and has a lot of hot spots. There is latch points for a second layer of diffusion on the interior of the dish, around the mid point, but no way to purchase a second diffusion layer which I think would help this product a lot. Wescott simply doesn’t sell anything to fill in that spot that they built into their product. It’s absurd. The build quality is really good, and the set up is very easy, not as difficult to set open as other brands I’ve had, like the Adorama’s brand of beauty dishes.

Doesn’t make sense to pay $300+ and it doesn’t come with the darn mounting ring.
