Using these after the regulator and before the hoses. Fit up well with no leaks. Hope they work if the time comes.

These are very well made and I trust them to do the job. The machining is well done and they installed without issue. I looked at many different flashback arrestors before settling on these and I'm glad I did. There are a lot of off brand ones available for less but I wouldn't trust them to do the job out of the box let alone 5 years from now. Many of them use metric or oddball fittings not commonly used in north America. A must have for any torch set. These are for the regulator side of hoses, this allows me to run a standard torch cutting head as well as my smith little torch. They also sell torch side flashback arrestors, make sure your getting the correct ones for your application. These are for B size hose connections. Check your fitting size before buying. My regulators and standard torch hoses were A size hose and I needed to buy adapter fittings to suit the B fittings on the Smith torch. Every other torch set I've used had B fittings on the regulator as they are the most commonly used in north america. Very happy with them.
