The hat worked great for surfing on cold windy days. Not sure how low the hat will hold up to the upcoming winter conditions. I will re-evualate this hat later

When it is cold I want my ears covered & with long hair I want the cap to stay on. I also like the brim for it helps to shade the sun & reduces rain from splashing in my eyes
