It only spits a little water no matter how much or what speed I pump it. I've tried to solve this problem to no avail. Mine is a very basic setup that I have plumbed with new and proper connections/ fill line. I just missed the return window. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Leider ist die Pumpe schon nach 2 Wochen undicht. Der Preis ist viel zu hoch für diese recht einfache Plastikpumpe.

works great. i like that it pumps out water on upstroke and down stroke. very smooth action. use it everyday. use a jerrycan cut down spout pushed pump through. cut rv freshwater hose for bottom and hasnt leaked yet. need to cap nozzle otherwise will leak every bump. used silicone nipple.

This pump is extremely well built and works like a charm. my only complaint about it is that it pumps on both the up and the down stroke, so often times I find myself only needing the water from the up stroke. Then if you leave the pump in the up position it drips until you pump it back down, Long story short, I ended up using more water than I needed to just because of the design. The pro side of this design is it pumps a lot of water much faster than the smaller little camper pumps.

Purchased this pump to replace leaky pump faucet in my camper van. It works beautifully. Efficiently pumps water on up and down stroke. I had do a bit of carpentry because the old pump had leaked water into the countertop. But overall, easy to install and looks and works great.

Have used it for 21 nights of boondocking style camping where we are using the sink to wash hands a lot more and also dishes due to current health situations. The faucet works very well and holds pressure well and takes about 16-18 pumps to pump a quart of water if we are filling up a nalgene. It has held up well and for at least 50 gallons having gone through it I am very satisfied. The plastic also cleans well so it makes for a nice setup when your RV is not hooked up to a permanent water source.

Works as expected. Ability to vary the height of the spout is, in our case, very convenient as we use it with a very small sink. There spout extends over the sink nicely for rinsing dishes. We have had none of the problems that some reviewers experienced. It maintains prime and has not leaked. This review written after using it for a 6-day cruise on our small sailboat.

When you pump it, the bottom part just leaks out water all over the place. Fine if it's for an outside sink, but not fine if you don't want the surrounding area soaked all the time.Other than that, it really is great. No other problems

Simple. Perfect. Takes up so very little space. Draws water up at least five feet (what I tested) effortlessly on both the up stroke and down stroke. Base can be rotated. Looks nice. It will suit my tiny camper very well. I'm very pleased. I installed it with one hole cut out, add a couple of screws, and it was done.

I purchased this to replace a pump that failed on my sailboat. It worked perfectly. It was one of the only pumps that I could find that would allow it to be mounted close to the surface, as the location was underneath an overhang most of the pump options were too tall to allow the pump to travel the full length of draw cycle. I had to dissemble the pump and mount it then put it back together after mounting it but it works great and doesn't take up any room. it's big advantage for me was it could be adjusted height wise when mounted. Seems pretty sturdy and hardy too.

We have a number of these taps - on our boat, in our two motorhomes and now we've ordered a further two for use in our log-cabin/field shelter/'posh shed'.We've used too many of the 12v submersible pump types previously but inevitably every single one has failed after relatively little use leaving us stranded without a water supply. In contrast, this Whale tap is completely manual with a simple pump mechanism and almost incapable of failing and, as it doesn't rely on a 12v power source, it is completely reliable. Another benefit is that as one hand is required to pump it eg while rinsing the other hand rather than leaving it running as is the temptation with a powered tap, you are far less likely to waste water. Instead you use just the amount you need. It's simple to fit and connect and we dangle the water pipe into a 10 or 20 litre jerrican. It couldn't be a simpler arrangement but simple is also the best in this case.Highly recommended. We would use no other.
