Im hoping its just that I got a poorly calibrated one of these as i was BEYOND excited to purchase but I bought the same brand euro bits and they do not all fit in the tool so its not nearly as useful as I was hoping and it is NOT for fine work -- or maybe its me... but I bought for precision - like setting 2,5 3mm stones - but its too cumbersome. I may return

I like the hammer, the concept is amazing for repousse and chasing. I wish there was an option for different heads other than the ones available. For instance, a half-round in various sizes would be very helpful.

This hammer exceeded my expectations. Based on the description (and the fact that I hadn't seen anything like it before), I kind of expected that it would be a semi-useful item, but have a number of "fatal flaws". I was wrong - it does exactly what the inventor intended. Basically, it allows you to set stones in a bezel without making those awkward errors that can occur because you accidentally hammer at a suboptimal angle. With this device, you cannot be off target, since its design requires that any force placed on the bezel is applied in a straight line through the contact point. An amazing tool that is my new favorite! Just don't forget that you need to modify the hammer ends to fit your requirements (but you have to do that with most tools, so no surprise there). Try it, you'll like it!
