From the look and feel it appears to have plastic mixed in with paper. Beautiful color and designs.

The paper is beautiful. I was surprised and disappointed that both sides were the same. Maybe I didn't read description well enough. Still totally usable!

Nice heavy paper and pretty colors. Gave it a 4 because when I cut it the edges fray a little, however when I run my fingernail down the edge the little frays come right off.
