Shipped with only 3 bearings for 5/8" shaft (broken zip tie) Lucky for me I only needed the 3/4" bearings. Worked great for my application, but if I had needed the 5/8" option I would have had to Return and Re-Order

Reviewing: Wheelbarrow Tires 4.80/4.00-8 with 3/4 & 5/8 Ball Bearing, 3.5-6" Hub Flat Free 16 inch Solid Rubber Tire Replacement Wheelbarrow Wheel 4.80-8 for Wheel Barrel Yard Cart Garden Wagon (Set of 2)The wheels these come on are not as wide as the ones that came off my wheelbarrow, so I had to make some adjustments to support them at the stock width, but they do the job well. It's nice not to have to worry about ever getting a flat tire again!

I loved these when I first got them, bright orange and you could see them a mile away. Put them on a small yard card you pull behind a mower and that's when the trouble began. First they faded in a matter of 2-3 months. Next the cart got water in it from rain and the tires went flat. Mind you these are foam so flat means they smooshed flat. Turned the car over let it set and they came back. Load up maybe 10 cinder blocks flat again. Now they are falling off the rims and my cart is stuck in the yard. These are very cheap Chinese parts do not buy !

Rolls well on my garden dump cart, even loaded with 300 pounds. I use it mostly on grass and pea gravel. I don't know how long it would last on pavement; probably not long. You should not let it sit for a long time with a heavy load on it, as it will deform. (You would think that's obvious and people would know better.)As others have noted, the bearings are not exactly aerospace spec, and they are not serviceable. That said, when the bearings failed after a month of occasional use, the seller sent me replacements very quickly. This time around, I packed the bearings with grease by shoving grease in with my fingers and palm. If I get a couple years out of these wheels and bearings, it'll still be money well spent because I hate dealing with leaky air tubes and cracking rubber sidewalls.

I got these because they're pumpkin orange and black!Kidding. I liked the idea of being able to upgrade to a one-inch axil if one came along. The old tires on my salvaged wheelbarrow were leaking Green Slime, which is way more expensive than air! Most of the locally available never-flat 16-inch wheels are over $55.00 for one, so the price was good. Not as heavy as most solid tires, but no bending under load.I'm very happy with this purchase.

Keeping air in a yard cart's tires can become an annoying problem as the tires sit through cold winters and generally age. These solid tires are a fine solution to the problem. They seem to provide a reasonable amount of give with light or heavy loads. Of course, with something so simple as a yard cart there is no suspension to speak of. I can't determine what is standard, but my Agri-Fab cart had a 5/8" axle, so I went to a local fabricator and got a 3/4" steel rod cut for a new axle. I cut it to precise length, drilled holes for the retaining clips on each end, and slipped on the correct bearings included with the wheels. My wife absolutely loves being able to quickly attach and use the cart without the headache of inflating old tires every time. A definite upgrade!
