This was the closest hanger I could find that supposedly fit my K2 commuter bike. It looked exactly the same from the pictures. However when I received it, I discovered that the casting wasn't exactly the same and didn't fit right. My original hanger had more rounded edges. I was able to grind a round on the back side of the hanger to make it fit; and since the grinding was on the back, it looked just fine on the outside. It works great.

I tore my rear derailleur hanger in half from dropping my bike too many times. I also destroyed my rear derailleur.I researched the proper size on the wheels manufacturing website for my bike.This replacement hanger not only feels more sturdy, it looks it too without having the hole in the middle of the hanger like the OEM part.The part looks indentical to the OEM hanger. However, I had to slightly grind 1mm or so in tiny location to make the hanger sit perfectly into the spot. I believe it didn't fit because of the wear and tear from dropping my bike.Anyone with a 2010 Jamis Allegro 2 in need of a replacement derailleur hanger, GET THIS. If your derailleur hanger is slightly bent, don't wait until it breaks because you will wreck the rear derailleur along with it. Not to mention you could really hurt yourself if it breaks at the wrong time.Highly Recommended.

for a small piece of aluminum its pretty expensive, considering how easily parts like this are manufactured. I needed it and amazon had it unlike the local bike shop.
