I happend to have my oven stop heating up. I noticed that the old one had some cracking and burns. All i had to do was match part numbers then wait to days. (Prime Baby). Install was quite easy though I recommend unplug your oven. Please make sure its unplugged. I did not. It was 2 screws and a little finesse of the + and -. Old out new in. Connect wires and presto. Works like a charm. No more microwave or eating out.

Great company, excellent support. Shipper must have stepped on it, the element came to mee with a bend in it. Suggestion was to send it back, I was in a bind and needed the oven, we discussed slowly, carefully work the bent out of it, Ohm it , to check not shorted or open circuit. Try it, if that failed, sent it back. Worked like a champ, got the oven working, saved me time and hassle. Well pleased. Not something everyone would want to try and do, but it got me out of a bind. Thank-you so much.

This element fit a Magic Chef, of unknown vintage, perfectly. The picture looked like mine, and some kind person answered a question with the dimensions since the seller did not deem it necessary to do so. The element extends 16" from the back oven wall, it's 18 1/2" wide, and has support legs that hold it about 3/4" off the bottom of the oven. If that's your Magic Chef element's dimentions, it'll fit.The element glows red and makes the oven hot. That's all it needs to do for five stars.

Surprisingly easy to install. Matched the old part exactly in our Maytag stove. Works perfect. Much cheaper price than local dealers for the exact same part. Will buy more appliance parts on Amazon in the future.2018 update: The part purchased in 2014 lasted just 4 years. Ordered another one in June 2018. Hope it lasts longer. I expected better from an OEM Whirlpool part. NOTE: this is a genuine Whirlpool part, labeled as such, and made in Mexico.

My wife and I were preparing dinner when suddenly a flare sparked up "a la" Mission Impossible. I am completely useless when it comes to fixing appliances, or any hardware not related to computers, so I immediately searched the web for "oven elements", and came across a guide on how to replace elements; Not a big deal!So after some time trying to find the serial number, and correct element number, I browsed Amazon for a replacement and stumbled on this one and quickly purchased it.It arrived within a few days, and installed flawlessly. Well, like any other electric appliance, remember to unplug your oven before performing any changes to it.In a nutshell, the item worked as intended, and arrived in a timely manner. 5/5.

If you're a "do-it-your-selfer" and like to hold on to your money then buying replacement parts for your appliances and installing them your self is the way to go. I'm of that ilk and went searching for a replacement baking element for our well used Maytag oven/range when its element went into "4th of July mode" while preparing dinner one night. Quite spectacular! But also impoverishing. I searched here at Amazon and found the correct replacement and placed my order. It got here in 4 days (I'm cheap so no 2nd day or overnight for me) in great condition and was a snap to put in. It's working great and has the oven working like new, even baking temperature through out the oven. The dinners and cookies are coming out great!I highly recommend this product and merchant.
