This part was recommended by the Whirlpool company to install the new dishwasher but did not come with the new dishwasher. So happy to find this on Amazon and the part arrived before installation.

This is just the part I needed! Fits the 7/8” opening on my whirlpool dishwasher. (I wasn’t sure it would as the listing was for 1”, but reviews said it worked and the part number matched true install directions) save yourself the headache and just get theirs one to start with!

This is just a regular wurubg straub relief that is commonly used in wiring boxes. Howeever, whirlpool gave no size specificatrions to allow the proper generic version to be determined, and thus force the buyer to purchase their proprietary part, and pay over 3x more than for a generic. Shame on a big company for such a scam.
