I was so happy to find this part with Amazon. I watched a video on how to install this and it saved me from having to hire a technician or buy a new dishwasher. It really was incredibly easy to install.

Worked great. Six Torx screws, plus taking out the old handle and putting it in with one flat head screw, and my dishwasher was repaired. By me. For not a lot of money, either. The panel works on certain models of Maytag that are badged Maytag but really Whirlpool inside. The membrane buttons are prone to corrosion from steam (poor design choice) but the dishwasher works well, so I repaired it.

If your dishwasher isn’t doing what you’re trying to program it to do or isn’t working at all, this is more than likely the problem. After months of washing dishes by hand and contemplating just buying a new dishwasher instead of playing trial and error, I took the chance and ordered this panel hoping it wasn’t the electronic control or something else. I’m thrilled to say Appliance Parts Direct got it shipped out to me fast and literally within 5 minutes of opening the box it was installed and my washer now works perfectly! Installation is as simple as removing 6 screws , swapping over the door handle and electronic control from the old unit, and reinstalling the panel. Happy wife = happy life!😁
