This easy-to-install replacement lint filter comes with a handle and measures approximately 3/8" thick on the left side and 5/8" thick on the right side. I’ve had my dryer for 5 years and usually use dryer sheets to help prevent wrinkles. Over time a sticky residue built up on the lint screen that I couldn’t clean off with soap and water or household cleaning products. Since I was concerned that this build up was diminishing the air flow in the dryer I decided to replace it. I was so glad to find the perfect part on Amazon. Right away after I started using the new lint trap I noticed an improvement in drying times. Glad it was so easy to find and replace.

Good price. The screen is so fine that my old one was not letting the proper air flow through. Made my dryer sensor say there was an air flow problem. I thought the problem was airflow after it entered the exhaust pipe. I was wrong - just needed a new dryer lint screen.

Original parts always work the best, in this case the easiest to clean. The metal mesh on copies deforms under heat and makes cleaning very difficult.
