Same as factory own part at a fraction of the cost. Just replace it if you have doubts. This fixed a freezer that wasn’t going into defrost.

I ordered this part for my refrigerator after it stopped self defrosting. I had researched, and found a site that gave possibilities to fix the symptoms I gave by probability and price. This part did not fix my problem, but I left it installed an am keeping my old part in case I need it in the future. Next on the list of probably causes of the symptoms was a defrost heater which I ordered and DID fix the issues I was having. Since I left this defrost thermostat in place, and the refrigerator still works, it does its job.
