I've since switched to the larger ball ones that only take one "cube" to work as well, but I'm a convert. Just think about what size and shape would work for you, and go for it! The extra overheaad of having to rinse and return to the freezer is well worth it. When paired with a thermal mug my drinks stay cold all day without getting watered down.

May be the first fill give cooling for 5-6 minutes after thats its just like a metal piece wasting space in the glass and increasing weight of the glass

The cubes go to the bottom of the cup how do you expect an entire cup to specifically the top part of the cup to stay cold? Waste of time and money and noisy in a tumbler when you cup is empty

after much thought i ordered these Stainless Steel Beverage Chilling Rocks reading d reviews & seeing d ratings. Was super excited to receive them ... however, i was totally disappointed when i dropped them into my drink! 3 rocks hardly cooled my drink! i would have to use all 6 in one glass to make a difference. Then i checked the cubes & realised they were hollow & that explained it! they loose all their temperature when u drop them into your drink as they are hollow & only the shell does what it can do! which is nothing! ... cant imagine dropping 6 in a glass as there wont be place for d drink! ... total disappointment!

Nice stainless cubes. If you drink from small glasses. They will chill your drink fast without watering it down. And they are seamless super easy to clean. So highly recommended.
