I usually I'm pretty against lampshades which seems kind of odd I know. But I have an oversized "antique" ambient-mood LED lightbulb that's quite big. Since the bulb was unusable without a cover I eventually elected to get this one which, to my surprise, actually set the bulb which is almost 6 in wide and looks good! It still maintains the modern feel that I was going for and it's very easy to assemble, took me 2 seconds

I was a little nervous about ordering a lamp shade that I would have to assemble at home because I thought that would make it more likely to create imperfections, but it's actually really good quality with a thick/stiff shade, and the end result looked just as good as any I could have found at a store/already put together. The different adjuster doo-dads that allow the shade to work with different lamp types were super convenient and worked with my lamp perfectly. It's an excellent product, but it does seem like it's a little pricey for a simple lamp shade.

I thought these were overpriced but they were the only ones in this size I could find. They are actually very premium looking in person.

I was surprised when this lampshade arrived in a 4 inch wide box.... This can't be my 10x13" lampshade... But it is. It arrives rolled into a smaller tube and you unroll and assemble it around 2 hoops that simply clip into place. The lamp flaps then velcro to themselves to close up. I have my lamp in a corner so the seam is not seen, and I guess it wouldn't matter much if it did as it's only slightly larger due to the velcro than on a normal lamp. Personally I would have bought another lampshade locally if I'd know that this wasn't pre-assembled as the price isn't significantly cheaper. But since I've already waited a week to get it as is and I didn't want to have to go searching for the right size and color at this point I decided to keep it. I have a high lumen LED bulb behind it and the white shade nicely diffuses the light without darkening it very much. So overall 4 out of 5 stars as it meets the need, just not thrilled about the process.

Like the taller height, allows use of corn style led bulbs. Well made. Looks nice.
