You get what you pay for. Spend the extra money so you only have to do the job once and don't waste money on this kit. The welds broke on the gun with first 2 pulls, the caulking was rigid and not good quality, the multi tool piece that scraps the old caulking out is a bad angle and useless, and the finishing tool is horrible design.

I don't know why the caulk is rock-hard and why it is so difficult to squeeze the caulk out. It cannot even form a coherent flow to fill the gap. Plus the shipment has been delayed once for whatever reason. The caulking gun is okay but cannot save the whole caulking process. Such a pain.

So,quick review...AC wall unit went out. I bought a new one, installed it, and could still see sunlight through the wall. Got this kit...pretty inexpensive, but since its a small job, I figured, why not.20 minutes later, all done! Tools were better than I expected. The silicone seems good and is easy to work with. The tub is next!

The caulking gun and additional tools were very helpful to re-caulk my tub. The caulking was old and need replaced. The scraper tool really got all the old caulking up and made a nice surface for the new caulking to adhere to. I used a different caulk than the one provided just because I wanted to be certain the caulking would last. I plan to use the silicone sealant on other projects around my house. The tools themselves were worth every penny for the quality. The only thing that could have been better is if the slide-down part on the scraper tool had a way to stay up better while using some force on it. I was still able to use it despite this. Very helpful kit to have.
