White Willow Bark is a very harsh taste. This is not real willow bark tea in my opinion

I was very skeptical that this tea would ease my shoulder pain. It works! 2 cups a day and it reduces my shoulder pain to a tolerable level.

What it tastes like isn't the point. It tastes bitter, like aspirin. What matters, is does it work. Yes, absolutely. It's not immediate. Takes an hour or so but the relief from the pain of arthritis lasts days. I'm 75 and I'd be lost without it. My stomach won't tolerate regular, or low strength aspirin. No problem with the tea. That said, I only drink one cup a day and I brew it along with some black tea which helps with the taste, plus a little honey and a spritz of half & half. Keeps my fingers, elbows and knees limber and pain-free.And another thing: aspirin is an artificial product produced in the laboratory from a petroleum byproduct. The inner bark of the White Willow ( the vascular cambium ) is a natural source and has been in use since 4500BC, the Sumerian Empire.
