Do not buy these boots...they are a piece of junk. One boot is one size bigger, there is no support, the laces are strings.

Entry level cross country skier here looking for an affordable well made boot. These fit the bill. I've used them for two years now with no complaints. Well insulated without being bulky. Easy to get off and on. Whitewood makes a very good products.

Not only were these boots a bit on the small size, but they also arrived slightly used, with slight scuffs on the bottom and rust on the toe bars. They came in a shoebox inside a standard cardboard box. While the outer box was in fine shape, the inner shoe box was pretty beaten up, another sign the shoes had been previously used. But it was the lack of fit that was the main reason why I returned them immediately.

I'm new to skiing and didn't want to pay a ton. These boots have exceeded my expectations. My feet are warm and dry and do not hurt. I would not hesitate to buy other gear from this company.

I could not find my ski boots and had to buy another pair. These work great. I expected to come in red and black but came all black which is what I would have preferred. They are well made and well worth the price.

I take a size 43 shoe/boot and, after reading the reviews, I ordered a size 45 which fits perfectly. In any case, I did want some extra room up front because of the thick socks that I like to wear while skiing. The boot tops were a little stiff the first time out so I put some moleskin around my legs in those areas to avoid blisters, but that goes with breaking in a new pair of boots. In general I am very happy with these boots and feel that they are a good value for the money.
