Eric G Messler a Swedish Sargent in Arctic warfare developed a passion for Nordic skiing that would later become the inspiration to create Erik Sports in 1973 as a North American distributor for Nordic equipment. In 1993 Eric Messler’s son Michael, takes the reins of Erik Sports. In 1998 Erik Sports celebrates its 25 years in business. In 2006 Whitewoods brand is officially trademarked by Erik Sports. In 2007 Needing room to expand, the company moves its headquarters and warehouse to the farmlands of Andover NJ. In 2013 Erik Sports celebrates its 40th Anniversary.

These are perfect size for length but very wide across the foot and ankle. Do not tighten with laces. I would send back but have a ski trip planned. Hope I don't roll my foot or ankle.

This boot fit fine, and worked OK on a set track. But in deeper snow, this boot allowed the foot to twist turning the ski to 90 degrees to horizontal. it was frustrating to ski with this boot. I have used other boots that never turned like that.

The top closes but the center of the cable systems stays loose and shoe bulges out terribly in the middle. It's a terrible design, they must not have tested it out before making a production run of these because it doesn't work and would never give you the proper fit when skiing. I tried all kinds of ways to try to get them to cinch up in the middle, but the design just doesn't work. Don't waste your time on a defective design and buy a different pair of boots.

The soles came off my old (40 year old) boots. These fit the NNN bindings so I should be good to go.

The size chart provide was not accurate. As others are saying, the size is small. Suggest ordering up 2-3 Eur sizes. In addition, the front of the boot narrows more than other boots. This isn't an issue as long as you again order up in size. So, make sure to order a size than you normally use (or expect).

I ordered based on the size chart, and the boots were about 3 sizes too small. Had to pay my own return shippng.
