I had watched a lot of videos of this style of lure, and wanted try them out. This pack contains a variety of colors so you so you have one for every situation. The action is great and mimics a wounded fish. The treble hooks are sharp and seem to be high quality. If you're looking to try out this style of lure, and don't want to spend a ton of money this is a great option.

These lures look great and the rotating tail really makes a splash to draw in the bass.

These are a decent bargain at under $3 apiece, and they definitely fit the bill for a splashing top water lure. I enjoy the compartmentalized plastic tackle box they arrived in, reusable long into the future in so many possible ways. The lures are somewhat large and cast well into moderate headwinds. My biggest complaint is that they spin unnaturally and twist the line when they’re retrieved at anything more quickly than a medium pace. There’s no lip or stabilizing second blade on the spinner to keep it from twirly crazily when you speed up the retrieve, and the peacock bass in my lake require a quick escape-mimicking action that accurately visually tracks with the minnows and small baitfish they love to hunt. If it doesn’t look real, they won’t pursue it. If you can fish these with the erratic and/or slow to medium retrieve that bass and smaller game fish respond to, these might be fine. The clownfish “Nemo” version is a humorous choice, and the first one I took a fish on. It was a smaller, inexperienced fish, but I guess that fits right in with the cartoon Nemo’s luck!

The Whopper Plopper fishing lure is a top-of-the-line choice for any angler looking to catch bass using a top water lure. This lure is known for its unique "plopping" sound, which is created when the blades on the lure's tail spin, causing water to be displaced and creating a loud, attention-grabbing noise. This sound is irresistible to bass, and often results in aggressive strikes. One of the standout features of the Whopper Plopper is its durability. The lure is made with high-quality materials that can withstand even the most aggressive fish. The hooks are sharp and sturdy, and the body of the lure is made with a tough, flexible plastic that can stand up to rough handling. The Whopper Plopper also has a lifelike appearance that makes it attractive to bass. The lure comes in a variety of colors and patterns, so you can choose one that best matches the baitfish in your local waters. The lure's design includes a realistic, detailed body and a set of lifelike fins, which help to create a natural swimming action.A++

“Plopper” style lures have become pretty popular. That’s because they catch fish very well.Ploppers run along the surface of the water with their propeller spinning and turning. The propellor throws water and makes a noisy, splashing commotion which is like ringing a dinner bell for any fish looking for a meal. These particular plopper lures work well. They are made from sturdy plastic and have good quality hardware.Their hooks are made from strong wire and are very sharp. The lures have attractive and durable painted finishes.Bass, pike and other predators will notice them.I use these lures with success in saltwater but be aware that their carbon steel hooks will rust quickly if you don’t rinse them in freshwater immediately after saltwater use. You’ll receive 5 of these lures in a plastic box for $20 which makes them a pretty good value. It’s a better price than you’ll find at a tackle shop. These lures will catch fish for you and they make a good addition to anyone’s tackle arsenal.Enjoy !

One thing I love doing is fishing topwater. I love watching the bass blow up on some lures. I saw these and had to order them because I like Whopper Ploppers. I believe these are close to the 75 size range because I have the big ones and I have the smaller 60's size and these are right in the middle. I was really hoping that these would run good but I found that these are to heavy in the belly and will stay below the waters surface for most of the retrieval... even with the rod tip all the way up in the air. So unfortunately these were a fail in my book and will now be ornamental in nature. Oh, and one of the color patters is of a clown fish which is why I referenced Nemo in the heading.
