I bought this in Dec 2021. Less than two years old and it snapped in half. The Gamma clamp on the right is 20yrs old. The metal matters!

It's a tennis clamp. It works well and has the grooves inside as well as strong clamping power. The only downside is that it took a long time getting it.

Good quality starting clamp, even though the spring action isn’t quite as smooth as the brand name Gamma. Five stars since it works well for half the price of the Gamma so you could get two of these for the price of one and avoid having to do a starting knot for a better overall string job.

I was initially skeptical because all the forums say you should use name brand clamps but this one performs great. I use it to start and end stringing for tennis racquets and have had zero issues for the past few months.
