Perfect for #10 bolts if you don't need exact cap size ( some of them vary in length slightly ). About 10 or so out of 1000 have noticeably thinner material than the norm, but do the job the same. I use them to protect bolts and prevent the bolts from ripping through plastic and cardboard in shipping. I hope they will release bigger packs than 1000!

These turned out to be a little bigger than I needed but by triming the length and adding a little glue they worked to cover bolts that were put in to brace the top of a pet carrier that had gotten damaged and I felt that I could possibly get cut from them. These screw protectors have now made the bolts safe. I also plan to use them on the clips that hold the glass in my glass front knick-knack cabinets. The old ones have disingertated with age and the metal can scratch the glass.
