I set the system up per instructions as well as watching the videos for this product. It was easy enough to get the WiFi running and the Lercenker app connected no problem. However after connecting the digital eyepiece to my telescope eyepiece, no live image came up on the app photo viewer which you do need in order to see where you are pointing before shooting a picture. I tried starting from scratch a few times as well as deleting the app and reinstalling by way of the barcode reader, end result the same. Just for "drill" I did click the button for taking a photo and it came out fine when I looked in the app album, but again the telescope was just pointed out my front window and was not able to use the app screen for selecting.I did send an email to their tech support site and currently waiting for them to get back to me.Update to the above: The tech support person did get back to me and recommended I go to my iPhone setting and turn off "Cellular Data" in the Lercenker app (see below screenshot_. Once I did the digital eyepiece along with the app worked as advertised.FYI the tech support team got back to me within 2 days.

Both the images on the Lecerken app and those recorded on the SD card are very out of focus. Mounting the device on the eyepiece of my telescope and changing focus there did not help.Defective product:-(

First the good things it was easy to setup and get working easy to mount. Next the not so good depending on the eyepiece you are attempting to veiw through you may or may not get a good field of veiw the sensor may crop a little or alot through my old brass refractor with 30X 32mm it crops quite a bit from top and bottom of the veiw and through my polar alignment scope it crops all but the very center of the veiw which was my main reason for the purchase to make it easier to veiw through the polar alignment scope for alignment of my mount so unless I have the north star nearly centered to start with it is useless but still haven't had a chance to see if it can even pick up the stars on a dark night due to clouds but day light it gives poor a blurry image instead of a useful tool I believe this to be a toy or more of a novelty thing would not recommend for anyone who is looking for a quality images a cellphone adapter will give you much better quality images and better results if it will physically fit your application

I took this attached photo on a Sarblue 70mm with a 20mm eyepiece. This camera work well and is easy to use. The build quality is good and the battery holds a decent charge. The only issue I have is the the ring to lock on to the eyepiece is a little tight when turning it. But that's just my personal preference it doesn't effect how the camera work's.

Works well, but the clamp feet aren't very strong and can slip off of the eyepiece. I added a lanyard to catch it if it falls. Can be difficult to get the camera at exactly the right distance from the eyepiece to prevent shadowing, but once you get it, it takes clear pictures and video, and is easy to connect to. Is also able to be used while charging, which is nice.

Although it takes some adhusting once fitted to eyepiece pics are good qnd video is decent to watch the moon pass. Camera and phone do have to be relatively close to function properly.
