This bit has the benefit of a flat blade that won’t slip out on virtually any screw you’ll find on AC electrical devices (outlets, switches, ceiling fans, circuit breakers, etc.). It has the torque of a flat blade with the stability of Phillips/square/torx bit. It is particularly useful when a Phillips head initially stripped out the screw head.Note: This will not work on standard Phillips or flat blade/slotted screws. It’s specifically for screws found on most AC electrical devices.
