Ok, love ddr for the Wii, but on ordering this pad i have had three big issues.1) my first pad was shipped to Michigan, while i live in Arizona. For no price this was corrected and a new pad was sent out.2) On receiving the pad, i have discovered a bad right step. its horribly off center and keeps moving about, and doesn't pick up half the time.3) The product title is horribly misleading. "2 Dancing Pad DDR" does not mean two pads, it is ONE pad.4) The pad is not the official Wii dance-mat as the picture shows, but an off-brand "MadCats Beat Pad"So for what it is, this was not worth the money spent.

I'm not sure why Amazon would allow or advertise these dance pads with the latest release of Dance Dance Revolution 2?? I purchased 3 extra dance mats (by clicking on the recommended accessories by Amazon) but none of them are compatable with the latest release of the game!! I had to return all 3 pads (which takes 4-6 weeks to get a credit) and then I had to purchase Konami Dance Pads from another retailer (more expensive but worth it because they are the "only" ones that will work with DDR2!!When I called Amazon... I advised them to "remove" the accessory from the "Recommended" list (the pads work with the old version of the game)... and after 2 weeks, they are still trying to sell the same incompatable dance pads with the DDR2 game!!I'm very disappointed with Amazon right now!!

I bought this mat after buying Hottest Party DDR so that we would have a second mat for two-player fun. The mat quality is noticeably lower than the mat that ships with Hottest Party - it slips on a smooth surface such as hard wood flooring and the top tends to crinkle.I made an alteration to the mat which reduced the slipping. I cut squares out of a yoga mat to fit the arrow squares and taped them to the underside of the mat. This not only helped with the skidding but also provided a tactile sensation so that it was easier to tell when your feet had gotten out of position.The squares register moves effectively and overall it was a good purchase, especially after alteration.happy dancing!

I can't find a pad that works with the Wii at any retail outlets, so I ordered it here. It took about 2-3 months to get it shipped to me (Amazon even wrote to ask if I still wanted to wait for this product to get to them so they could ship it to me).I unpacked the pad 3 days ago. Still have not danced on it. WHY? Because of the plastic chemical smell. I am leaving it outside on sunny days to burn off the smell that I find a little annoying and my husband really can't stand, it makes him a bit ill. (I got the pad for him as with the game you can only play with others if you have 2 or more pads). Think I am picky and overplaying the smell? I opened it in the living room. Our roommate who's bedroom is all the way down the hall, a good 75 feet away came out after about 20 minutes to find out what the smell was that was wafting into his room.The smell is less and I figure it will bake out soon. But I would hate to be in the factory or the warehouse that makes these pads. Plus, if they make it so hard to get the pad, no wonder the game is not selling so well any more. But as it is the only one I could find I am gonna give it a full week to air out, then try it out. If it works I am keeping it.
