I needed these primarily for pipe and drain plugs and adjustment bolts on older agricultural machinery. They are clean, strong enough, and on size so they fit without damaging the parts.

Unlike some reviewers, my set was complete and all the sockets were stamped with the correct sizes. They look great and fit square end easy outs so that is nice.

my local tool truck guy qouted me a high price and then told me he wasnt sure when he could get them. these are very high quality and other than the fact that they dont Snap or go On they are made by the same supplier and cost less and arrived quicker.

High quality and works well. Really helps when working with old square-head nuts and bolts. Be aware that due to the nature of the corners these sockets are thicker than most (has to be to accommodate corners). However, most old stuff this style is used on tends to have reasonably good access.

Great for set screws on hydraulic motor couplers. It never fails set screw is always in an awkward that cannot be reached with an open end wrench and your 6 point socket set won't fit on a 4 point head. Although a 12 point socket will fit I like the better holding of the fewer points.

Had no idea I'd use these as much as I do! Works FAR, FAR better on square heads than an open end wrench! No more stripping, breaking stuff, rounding off, slipping, not being able to get stuff loose... Should have bought the set a LONG time ago! Highly recommended, and they come all the way up to a fairly large size! I use the 9/16" all the time on old Toploader transmission drain plugs!

The sizes of the sockets are : 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8"There is also a socket holder that is included.I only use the 7/16" socket for a carriage lock on my Colchester lathe that has a square head bolt.The finish quality on these sockets is excellent.
