Excellent glove. This is PRO LEVEL, so be prepared for a break in. There's YouTube videos from Wilson and their glove expert about how to break it in properly. Do a proper break in, be patient, and it will be worth it. Give yourself a couple weeks to break this in before using it in a game. EXCELLENT leather, stitching, and craftsmanship. Worth every penny. My daughter is in Junior high, I expect this glove to last through high school.

Although difficult to get this mitt softened up, it has been a joy for my daughter (17 years old and playing in college next year) and she loves it. High quality, great padding, and good size and pocket. Would recommend this mitt to anyone wanting to make the step up from recreational or even moderate level use.

We really like the glove, but wish we would have gotten it during the off season maybe to allow more time to break it in. My daughter is 12 and she plays school ball and travel ball and is almost always a catcher, so she need a good solid glove and this is it. Very well constructed and it looks like and feels heavy duty, we were worried about spending so much, but feel we made a good decision.

Typical Wilson A2000 catchers mitt- high quality product that takes ALOT of love to break in, but well worth it!! Finally had to replace her last one after 4 good YEARS of year around ball. Small but nice chances to this model - angles cuts in the pocket allow for more secure receiving of ball. If your girl is a serious catcher -glove is well worth tje price just plan on working it for awhile to break in

como muchos de los guantes que se venden para softball. Este guante no es la excepción. Es un guante para mano demujer. Me refiero a que el área de la mano es muy pequeña y apretada. El guante es de excelente calidad, pero definitivamente para mujeres.

I grew up playing with an A2000 and purchased this one for my daughter who plays club ball and HS ball. She was a little hesitant to jump into practice with a NEW glove, but overcame! She is super pleased with this glove and her coach even said, "Lemme see that glove! Dang girl this is a nice glove!" Her pride in the glove shows in her play!

I needed a new softball glove as mine was ancient. I did a ton of research trying to find the right glove and I settled on an A2000. I could not be happier with this thing!! I have a size S/M hand so I was interested but slightly concerned about getting a glove meant for a women's hand. I fortunately was able to try this on in a store and it fit my hand just fine. The adjustable strap is very nice and makes it easy to customize fit. I saw a lot of reviews saying how stiff the glove was and breaking it in was going to be a pain. It took about a week of playing catch, rolling it up w/ a softball and leaving 30 lbs of weight on it each night and it was good to go. I played a game 1 week after receiving the glove and did not have a single issue.Such a nice glove!! I'm writing this review 2 months after receiving it and the fit and feel is amazing!! Perfect for slow pitch softball if you have a smaller hand and/or don't want a bulky glove!!

Bought this to replace a 13" glove for my 17 year old who plays softball. My daughter loves the quality and the size. She plays 3rd on an 18u gold team and this glove size was recommended by her coach and she likes it a lot more than the bigger glove. It's expensive but it's worth it, she had mizuno in the past and likes this wilson a lot more than the mizuno. She likes how the pocket holds up and retains its shape, the mizuno has a very loose pocket that seemed to fail over time. This glove should last her a couple of years if not more so keep that in mind when your thinking about the cost, it will save you over the years.

Great glove! Bought for our 12yr old daughter who is a catcher for town and club softball. Takes some time to break in but definitely has more protection for her hand than a cheaper $100-$150 glove. If your daughter is gonna stick with catching do her catching hand a favor and buy her this!UPDATE!! Almost a year later my daughter who still plays townball, summerball and club softball LOVES this glove. Superior protection for her hand. Its help her focus on her job behind the plate, not the 40-60mph pitches she sees from town to club teams. She conditions it regularly. Buy it, love it, keep it for years!
