You can put other things in it as well as sugar cubes. It's very restaurant quality vs older antique silver versions you find in France. But we love it anyway and you can't beat the price and fast shipping.

If you think a sugar bowl can’t be cute, please reconsider! Saw this sugar bowl in a restaurant and I love. It’s so much more interesting than the Tiffany ice bucket I had been using.

I saw these bowls at a bar in NYC and had to have them. The bartender told me where to get them on Amazon! They used them for lemon and lime wedges. I use mine for my Mini-Moos and sugar packets. It's a convenient way to keep things where you need them, but out of sight and neat! I highly recommend. I'm considering ordering two more for my bar!

I love this sugar bowl, it is a rather unique style which is why I purchased this item. It is good quality, well made and will serve a purpose for my coffee bar. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a different way to keep sugar. Not air tight so should be checked and replaced regularly for freshness. I would purchase this item again. Cool looking sugar bowl.

This is perfect for holding sugar cubes. Like others have mentioned, this is big. I added one pound of sugar cubes and had room to spare.

i make real butter and cut it up. so, i found this and thought it'd do the trick. it does. i cut up my butter and place it inside. the top slides easily open and shut. i don't think it comes off. easy to clean up. not really heavy. but simple and functional. it works for what i wanted it for !

I would recommend this. When dining at our local J. Alexander's we noticed that their unique sugar bowls were gone and when we asked they said they were given away. I was so happy to see these on Amazon, they are almost exactly like the ones we coveted and the price was reasonable so I purchased one for each of my sisters, and they were thrilled. Can be used for so many things besides sugar, they could house candy or nuts, or use on your desk for paper clips. Use your imagination!
