I wanted some small melamine bowls for cat food. I don't care much for the wide brim on these, but maybe it makes them sturdier. I use these for the small portions of cat food my cats get several times a day, and they fit well in the top rack of the dishwasher. They work fine for what I want. It is always handy to have small bowls around.

I purchased these bowls and I am so glad there were 12 of them because I find they are perfect for measured cut up food. They go in the dishwasher, which is a pleasing to me. I read that it shouldn’t go in the microwave, but for all the pluses I’m okay with that.
