Item as described and well-made but has a design issue: the handle has a v-groove in it (which makes it stronger). The problem is that if you tilt the spoon at all towards your hand, hot liquid from your noodles runs up the groove and to your hand, ouch. It's fine if you never tilt it back, but that's not easy to remember while cooking, especially in a rush.

Not what I expected. It is small, and the handle is rather difficult to hold. My old plastic one was larger and easier to grasp, but it broke, so I ordered this one. Disappointed with the product, but I will use it.

Okay, but very small and shallow spoon. More suitable for serving small helpings. Quality seems a little cheap, but functional.

This is the first item I've ever returned due to poor quality. While I know that it is rather inexpensive, I really didn't expect it to be so cheap.Firstly, the photo was incorrect - the item I received did not have a concave serving section, but rather it was completely flat. This, along with the fact that the teeth on the spoon were very short and nubby, made it difficult to pick up much.Secondly, the metal was so thin that it literally flexed and bent under the weight of the modest amount of pasta it was able to pick up.In addition, the punched edges were very rough and sharp.Functionally, I would say that it is mediocre, and that you could get something better for the money. If you are searching for a kitchen utensil that looks nice, this is definitely not it.

I wanted a server that was not plastic as those tend to get a white coating that won't come off after several trips thru the dishwasher. This one has a nice heft and balance to it as well as retaining its shine and no white coating after washing.

It is pretty simple and a little smaller than I expected, but it is stainless steel and works just fine.
