My zillion year old cheapie utility knife blade chipped and this nice tool has replaced it. I like the thin straight blade; great for cubing fruit for oatmeal, slicing cheese, and other lightweight breakfasty prep. Smartly designed.

I bought this knife to assemble a custom knife set according to what I want in my kitchen. I'm very particular with my knives and I treat them to last as long as possible, sharpening them every month or so.This utility knife is fantastic for quick work in the kitchen; it works great for fruits, vegetables, and smaller items. For large-scale cooking I'll use my 10" chef's knife but this is great for quick cuts. Very ergonomic and quick to clean.

I own a block of Zwilling Henckels knives (with 2 figures on the knife) but I always felt I was missing a knife like this. Not willing to spend a lot of money I got this knife and for all the purposes it is just as good as Zwilling Henckels. Design is identical. My only complain is that it could have been a bit sharper out of the box.

The Acero series of knives from Winco offer near professional quality at a bargain price. I am delighted with them. They hold an edge and feel just right in my hands. I have the 5"Utility, 8" Slicer, 8" Chef, 6" Boning, 3.5" Paring knives and the 7" Carving fork.

I'm honestly a little shocked by this purchase. I bought these because my lovely Wusthof 4.5" sandwich knife that has been part of my kit since I used to work in professional kitchens ended up being left in the sink dirty and unable to to be used without washing more often than not. I had previously attempted to remedy this by purchasing a cheap $8-9 5" utility knife from Target. That turned out to be the biggest piece of dung I have ever used. It had machining marks on the blade so coarse that you could feel them running your hand across the metal. Needless to say, it was relegated to the depths of an ACTUAL utility drawer for such glamorous tasks as opening boxes and cutting down cardboard.I stumbled across these because I was looking for a cheap paring knife to use in my RV, and I was surprised by the reviews/pictures. Looked to good to be true..... but at $7.50 a pop, what the hell.... I'd be out $15 and have cheap beater knives.I've gotta say, I've had these for about a month now, and haven't had to hone them in any serious way yet..... only ran one over the steel that got used cutting on ceramic. The quality is impressive, and thus far, the edge holds up. I doubt they'll hold up the way my higher-priced german friends have over the years, but now that I don't cook for a living anymore, I don't need them to.... and anyway, if they've been this impressive from the go? I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Nice knife, not fabulously sharp or anything. Does it's job. A bit long; wanted a 4.5-5" blade but couldn't find one that size in this price-range. The Wustoff is $64 so I bought this instead and use it every day. I have a sharpener but haven't needed it yet.

Excellent quality blade. Very well balanced knife with a good grip. You feel a comfortable and safe grip when you use it. Would definitele buy again a product from this company.
