We got this set for our back doors. They were a bit tricky to fit on the doors due to the types of doors we have and are at a slight odd connection. We used the double sided stickers and they have stayed in place since. On the side you have 3 options,off, alarm on, chime. The alarm is very loud and would alert neighbours and put off any intruders, unless they simply turn it off using the button! That was our main issue really, it doesn't connect to an app that could give you remote alerts so it is useful if you are inside the property and less so if you're away as you won't know someone has gone in. Of course combined with further security measures like cameras this would be a good option.

Having tried these for the house, I had to get another set of this great alarm kit for the workshop area.The alarm is triggered by the separation of the magnet from its proximity distance; hence it can be used on any type of door or window, even the cat flap!The sound output can be set to:– alarm i.e. as a very loud alert (100 dB) of unwanted intruders or– chime i.e. to inform of a visitor to the warehouseThere are x3 volume settings including mute when not needed.The pre-cut 3M dual adhesive tapes makes installation easy and x4 LR44 batteries are generously included in each alarm unit, allowing immediate use.This wireless alarm kit is a must have for those that want awareness of visitors or pets coming in and out of the premises.

Picked these up for a little bit of an extra security deterrent on some outbuildings that aren’t connected to our security alarm. They are super simple to use simply fix it to whatever you wish to alarm with either screws or the sticky pads provided, turn on and walk away. The sound instantly when the magnet breaks the circuit which should deter someone who doesn’t know what it is or connected to. The sound is also pretty loud so should alert you.The only downside is there being no delay to the alarm going off. Therefore if using like me on a shed you have to set it which will trigger it and then close the door to silence it. This is also an issue when reopening the door. But I can’t mark down for this as it really isn’t the intended use.They are however really good for any windows/doors in your home which you can set before you go to bed and disarm in the morning.Overall simply and affective security
